ANNOUNCEMENTS

I am pleased to announce that a print of mine   -Window Pain-   has been chosen by two jurors (Patty Heyda & W. Elysse Newman) to be shown in Art St. Louis' next themed show, "MEMORY".  From 168 artworks in all media submitted by 93 artists, the jurors selected 49 artworks by 33 artists for the exhibition.
The show runs January 16th - February 23, 2012.

Window Pain is a signed, limited edition print;  only 5 will be printed at this size.  The image being shown is a black and white 'Kodalith-style' ink jet print from photographic negatives digitally reproduced on archival paper, and is 24" x 24" as framed.

With great pleasure I can announce that another print of mine   -Cold Storage-   has been accepted for "EAC 2 All Media Juried Show" at the Edwardsville Arts Center.  The show runs from February 17 to March 16, 2012.

Cold Storage is one of my older images, originally shot on film in the 1970's.  The image is of a set of grain storage bins on the farm where my wife grew up in East Central Illinois.  Several years ago I digitized the negative and manipulated the image in the manner and style of a Kodalith film print.
