Foto File Studio - Services

Mr. File is available to schedule commercial and personal commissions, including portraits, events, publicity & advertising, and commissioned art work for interior design. His interests are broad and varied and range from architecture to zoology, boudoir to public events, from stark monochrome to subtle color. Individual, family, and small group portraits on location are a special joy to complete. Mr. File has a successful history of producing interesting and unique images for actors, dancers, models, and musicians, to be used as head shots, album covers, portfolio inclusion, and for other public venues. His experience as a professional actor and theatrical designer allows him special insight into the needs of such artistic individuals. Because of his experience as a lighting designer, theatrical production images are a specialty.

Fine Art photography continues as a strong interest, and he specializes in landscape, cityscape, and figure photography.

Mr. File produces for sale international and U.S. regional bookmarks, postcards, and computer screen saver images for sale, and is pleased to take commissions for producing such items for discerning companies, groups, or individuals.

Originally, Mr. File works in 35mm to Medium Format (2¼” x 2¼”), using exclusively Nikon ®  and Hasselblad ®  photographic equipment, in both color and black & white, using film or digital original image capture, as the nature of the client or the project suggest.

Clients may request final images in various formats, from electronic (delivered securely -under password- online, via CD or DVD) to physical and traditional prints, on paper or other surfaces. Digital Prints on various quality photographic papers, up to 11” x 14” sizes, color or monochromatic, can be produced in the studio on dedicated, professional EPSON ®  equipment. Larger prints, murals, and slides/transparencies are outsourced to Allied Photocolor ®  in St. Louis, an established professional photo and image lab Mr. File has used for 15 years.

All images are digitally archived initially on a computer system and external hard drives dedicated to image work.  The drives are backed up constantly and are regularly archived to a secure and separate backup location off site.  Security and discretion are assured.
